Chris Mulhern töretlenül dokumentálja a Philadelphia-i gördeszkázás alakulását, a mostani már a hetedik része az [untitled] sorozatnak. A lokál deszkások nem éppen könnyű időket élnek meg. A Keleti Part-i deszkázás egyik mekkájának tekinthető Love Park 2017-ben szűnt meg létezni. Innen a túlélési ösztön a "Muni"-hoz terelte az újabb generációkat, amelyet 2023-ban kezdtek bontani, hogy a remények szerint egy deszkabarát térként szolgálhasson tovább. A legmegrendítőbb képek számomra azok, amelyeken havat lapátolnak vagy a tér romjait pakolják össze csak, hogy hajthassanak. (Quel Haddox szó szerint kimaxolja a környék összes építési területét.) Philadelphia fenntartja az újabb és újabb generációk színvonalát. (Külön említést érdemel Bobby Worrest, aki inkább Washington DC-hez köthető.) Chris Mulhern continues to document the evolution of skateboarding in Philadelphia, this is the seventh chapter of the [untitled] series. Local skaters don't have easy times. Love Park, considered to be the mecca of East Coast skateboarding, was demolished in its state in 2017. From there newer generations were led to "Muni" by survival instincts, but it was started to be reconstructed in 2023, to rebuild it to serve as a, hopefully, skater friendly plaza. For me the most moving pictures in the video are the ones where they are shoveling snow or put together the residues of the plaza in order to bring skateable obstacles to life to ride, ride, ride. (Quel Haddox literally maxes out all of the construction areas of the region.) Philadelphia preserves the high quality of skateboarding from generation to generation. (We have to emphasize here Bobby Worrest, who is more likely related to the Washington DC scene.) We could list the best of the best skaters, but come on, watch and study this video instead.
